Applying for a monkey helper involves more than just filling out some paperwork. From the very beginning, it is a mutual commitment between applicants and Helping Hands to get to know and understand each other very well. To explore together the possibilities—and the challenges—of living with a monkey helper. The application process is deliberately designed to give us adequate time for this exploration. For most applicants, this takes three to six months. Applicants who complete the entire process may be matched with a carefully selected monkey helper. For others, the process will reveal that a monkey helper is not the right fit

The Helper Monkey lets you print the CSV file or table, refresh the files, work with a built-in text editor, activate a command-line console, ping the selected host, test the selected connection. Showing English results only. Show results for all languages. MooMoo.io, Agar.io, Surviv.io, Slither.io, Diep.io, Global Name Manager Krunker Coming Soon - Auto. The best plugins and scripts for 3D, VFX and motion graphics software including Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D and Premiere Pro. Lots of video tutorials showing how to use the tools provided.

Helping Hands staff members guide applicants through this process step-by-step. We are here to answer all of your questions, and to ensure that we get all the information we need to determine if you are an appropriate candidate, and if so, to match you with the perfect monkey helper for your needs.

Before you take the first step and submit an inquiry form we encourage you to spend some time reviewing the information about why monkeys, our eligibility requirements, the application process, the placement process, and life with a monkey helper. Read our recipient stories, or watch Imagine a Monkey or Monkeys in a Minute.

A monkey helper can assist with tasks such as:

  • turning pages
  • scratching itches
  • retrieving dropped objects
  • inserting straws into bottles
  • turning on buttons/switches for remotes, phones, computers, etc.
  • repositioning limbs on a wheelchair

Also, please note there are some limitations to the range of tasks our monkey helpers can perform. They CANNOT assist with:

  • Retrieving medication/pills
  • Personal Needs – teeth brushing, catheters, bathing, or dressing
  • Feeding and food preparation (monkeys however can help retrieve a drink of water)
  • Dialing the phone
  • Alerting an individual to an oncoming seizure or panic attack

Video Monkey is a free video converter application for Mac. With it you can encode multiple videos, automatically add metadata from sources like theTVDB.com and theMovieDB.org, and then add them to your iTunes library, all at the touch of a button. The UI is simple and intuitive and lets you encode almost any video to many Apple and non-Apple formats. It uses the super fast ffmpeg encoder for high quality results. Whether it’s converting recorded TV shows, or transferring a video to a format for use in other video editing software, Video Monkey is a great way to simplify all your encoding needs just like its alternatives handbrake, mpeg streamclip, etc.

VideoMonkey was created after the demise of the great tool Visual Hub. Video Monkey borrows heavily from concepts in the Visual Hub video conversion tool for its simple and clear UI and its use of ffmpeg for encoding. And then it enhances that functionality with metadata insertion, automatically adding to iTunes, and other great enhancements.

To make it more likely that a patch will be suggested, please document what is being changed and its benefits. Also, attempt to follow the style guidelines of the current code as much as possible. A clear and well documented patch is much more likely to be accepted than one that is makes many arbitrary or unrelated changes or which are poorly formatted.
